1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of PLIKT. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use PLIKT.
2. The Service
PLIKT is The World's Daily Prediction Game, a daily prediction game platform where users around the world make predictions on one question each day and see the results visualized on a real-time world map. The initial content is a Bitcoin up-or-down prediction, and additional topics may be added in the future. Users can participate in predictions, view rankings, manage profile information, and review past performance through the features we make available from time to time.
Some features may be available to anonymous users, while other features may require a signed-in session.
3. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement and meet the minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction to use PLIKT.
4. Accounts and Identity
PLIKT may provide anonymous participation as well as optional sign-in with Google through Supabase Auth. You are responsible for activities that occur through your session or account and for keeping access to your device secure.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of PLIKT
- Attempt to access data or systems without authorization
- Use bots, scripts, or automation in ways we do not permit
- Exploit bugs, security issues, or ranking logic for unfair advantage
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
6. Profiles, Rankings, and Predictions
Rankings, scores, streaks, and related statistics are provided for the service experience. We may update calculation methods, visibility rules, and anti-abuse measures when needed to protect fairness and integrity.
7. Intellectual Property
PLIKT, including its software, design, branding, and original content, is owned by or licensed to the operator of the service. These Terms do not grant you ownership of any part of PLIKT.
You retain rights in content you are legally entitled to submit, if any, but you grant us the limited rights necessary to operate, display, and improve the service.
8. Privacy
Your use of PLIKT is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect information.
9. Service Availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of PLIKT at any time. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
10. Disclaimer
PLIKT is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. Predictions, rankings, statistics, and related outputs are provided for informational and entertainment-oriented service use and are not financial, investment, or trading advice.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of PLIKT will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to PLIKT if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, harmed the service, or created legal or security risk.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use of PLIKT after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, except to the extent that mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.
